QUET TA: A suspected militant was shot dead in Kohlu district during a joint search operation on Wednesday.

According to official sources, personnel of the Frontier Corps and intelligence officials conducted a joint search operation in the Kahan area of Kohlu district after receiving a tip-off about the presence of armed militants.

A heavy exchange of fire took place between the armed men and security forces, resulting in the death of a suspected militant.
