LAHORE: A teenage boy, Zubair, reportedly committed suicide by swallowing poisonous pills in Nishtar Colony on Thursday.

The boy took the step after his mother scolded him over some issue.

The police handed overbody to the family after legal formalities.

Also, a young man, Akash, was injured when a 1(ite string cut his neck when he was riding his motorcycle in Nishtar Colony.

He was taken to hospital with some deep wounds in his neck. His condition is apparently said to be stable.
