Four drown in River Kabul

NOWSHERA: Four people, including two brothers, drowned in River Kabul in different incidents here on Sunday.
Rescue 1122 officials identified the drowned brothers as Mohammad Nazir, 26, and Mohammad Akram, 16. They said Akram was swept away by gushing water when he tried to save Nazir.
Similarly, two friends, Mohammad Zafar, 18, and Zohaib Khan, 21, lost lives when they tried to save each other from drowning.
Both the incidents occurred near MianIesa union council.
A Rescue 1122 team reached the spot and started search operation.
Deputy commissioner Shahid Ali Khan also reached the site. So far, none of the missing persons was recovered.
Talking to mediapersons, Mr Ali said the youths drowned while bathing in the river.
Meanwhile, a labourer was electrocuted in an under construction building in Kheshgi area.
Police identified the victim as Hayat khan.
