MIRPURKHAS: Irrigation officials registered a case against a landlord on charges of water theft after finding two pipes taking water from Nara Canal to fill his fish pond within the jurisdiction of Chotiaryoon police station on Thursday.

The irrigation official Sadique Rajar filed the case under Section 430 PPC and 61-62 of Irrigation Act, stating that a monitoring team found that two cemented pipes were used to steal water from Nara Canal to fill fish pond of landlord Ali Mohammad Mallah in Sangahr district. The suspect had not yet been detained by police.-Correspondent
