Pakistan will never tolerate aggression, says minister

TAXILA: Minister of State for Railways Bilal Azhar Kayani on Monday described Pakistan`s `Operation Bunyanun Marsoos` as a comprehensive national response to Indian aggression.
He said being a sovereign and independent nation, Pakistan will never tolerate any aggression against its independence, dignity, or ter-ritorial integrity. He expressed these views after condoling with the family of Malik Mehboob Elahi, who was martyred in Thursday`s Indian drone attack in Dhoke Awanabad near Jabbi Kasran near Kalla Chitta mountain range in tehsil Fatehjang.
Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Punjab Zeeshan Malik, Station Commander Attock Brigadier Adnan, Deputy Commissioner Rao Atif Raza and others werealso present.
Mr Kayani said the unity among the people, political leadership, and military command refiected the nation`s strength.
He said the entire nation stands united in the face of these threats and is determined to resist any actions aimed at destabilising the country. He said Pakistan`s armed forces had once again proven themselves as a formidable force, capable of master-ing even traditional warfare through professional excellence and unshakable resolve.
The successful defensive and counter-offensive operations carried out across multiple fronts not only deterred further escalation but exposed the weaknesses of the enemy`s strategy.
Pakistan`s superior command and control, rapid mobilisation, and effective deployment of defence systems showcased ahighlevelofprepared-ness.
Mr Kayani also conveyed a special message to the son of the martyr from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, expressing the nation`s respect and gratitude to the martyr and his family.
Spealcing to the family, he said the prime minister had directed that the families and children of those martyred in Indian attacks will be provided with education, healthcare and job opportunities.
