LAHORE: Sports Board of Punjab (SBPb) organised a rally from National Hockey Stadium to Gaddafi Stadium on Monday to observe thanksgiving day and express solidarity with Pakistan armed forces after Pakistan`s memorable victory in the war against India under the operation `Bunyan-um-Mrsoos`.

Punjab Sports Director General Khizar Afzaal Chaudhry led the rally which was attended by the board employees.Mr Khizar congratulated the Pakistan armed forces and the entire nation on the historic achievement.

`Pak army has demonstrated professional approach while defeating India. We are proud of our armed forces.

He said downing India`s modern Rafale planes was a big achievement.

`The spirit and discipline exhibited by the Pakistan army and air force have neverbeen seenin the world. Literally, Pakistan has pr ove d it s unique milit ary prowess quite effectively against India.He said US President Donald Trump`s tweet about Kashmir, in which he expressed his willingness to mediate for the resolution of the Kashmir issue, had proved that Kashmir was a disputed territory despite India`s so-called claims.

He said Pakistan`s highly professional armed forces had proved India`s all doubts about its strength and war preparation wrong.

`The press briefing in which Indian army chiefs admitted the destruction of their planes and other losses were also a big proof of Pakistan`s victory on all fronts.
