TOBA TEK SINGH: An A n t iC o r r u p t i o n Establishment team, led by Director Kanwar Khalid Mahmood, arrested Faisalabad district council`s former chief officer Naeemullah Warraich on Monday.

According to an ACE official, a case was registered against Warraich on Aug 30, 2022, under Section 409 of PPC andSection 5(2) (47) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

The complaint was filed by Talha Tahir, a shopkeeper from Saddar Bazaar in the Ghulam Muhammadabad area, who alleged that Warraich `misplaced` stamp papers given to him for the transfer of ownership of his shops. Correspondent
