KARACHI: Sindh Governor Mohammed Zubair has said that the welfare of people is the first priority of the government. He said the federal and provincial governments were working on the vision to spur prosperity in Sindh.

He said this in a meeting with Sindh Minister for Information Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, who called on him at Governor House, said a statement issued here onMonday.

Mohammed Zubair said that the welfare of the people was the government`s top priority, especially the provision of basic facilities, including clean drinl(ing water, health, education and infrastructure as well as development and renovation.

He said it was the responsibility of the information department to make the public aware of welfare and development works before their initiation.-APP
