LAHORE: Two economy class passenger coaches of Awam express derailed on way to the Lahore railway station from the washing line, resulting in the delayed departure of the train.
`The coaches derailed due to slippery condition on the rail caused by rain,` said Mr Muhammad Zafar, Lahore Railway Station Master, while talking to Dawn on Friday.
He said the derailed coaches were separated from the rake, enabling the staff to despatch the train to Karachi.
