LAHORE: The Pakistan Oxygen Limited (POL), a leading supplier of oxygen across the country, has told hospitals that it is unable to meet their increasing demand.

In a letter sent to major hospitals in Pakistan, the POL states that the gap between demand and supply of oxygen is widening beyond the control of the company despite running its three oxygen plants at full capacity.

The POL has requested the hospitals to make alternate arrangements for procuring oxygen from other sources till further notice.

It has also mentioned that it will not be liable for any circumstances on account of its inability to meet any demand for supply of oxygen to the hospitals.

Due to Covid-19 pandemic, demand for oxygen has risen sharply.
