KARACHI: A teenage boy was killed allegedly by his stepfather over a property dispute on the outskirts of the metropolis on Monday, police and rescue services officials said.

They added that the boy, identified as 18-year-old Asad Abid, was stabbed to death in Noor Mohammed Goth near Ahsanabad.

An Edhi Foundation spokesperson said that the trussed-up body, bearing knife wounds, was recovered from a house.

SITE-Superhighway Industrial Area SHO Khalid Abbasi said that after the death of his father, Asad was living with his stepfather, Tauqeer. On Monday, they had a dispute over the house they were living in which deteriorated to the extent that suspect stabbed Asad to death.

The officer said that after killing the teenager, Tauqeer buried the body in the courtyard of the house and fled.

The police said that their neighbours informed the police about the body, which was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Meanwhile, a young man was shot at and wounded by robbers on Shaheed-i-Millat Road on Monday.
