ISLAMABAD: The Federal Minister for National Health Services Aamer Mehmood Kiani on Wednesday directed his subordinates to work on fast track basis as software has been developed to monitor disposal of cases and in future they would be held responsible for delays.

While presiding over a meeting he directed the officials to achieve set goals and targets. He said all officers must ensure that cases were disposed of without delay.

He asked the senior officers to take the necessary steps to improve the performance and capacity of their respective staff.

`We cannot work with business as usual approach if we had to take forward the health sector in line with vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan,` Mr Kiani said.

Minister said the ministry had been assigned a number of new organisations/hospitals, which have to be run in a highly ef ficient manner to ensure quality services were provided to people.

The minister in this connection assured his full cooperation to the officers. Staff Reporter
