Pakistan chapter of CEO Clubs Worldwide launched

KARACHI: The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)is a project of global significance attracting investment from other countries as well, Habib Metro Bank President Sirajuddin Aziz said on Monday.

Speaking at the launch of the Pakistan chapter of CEO Clubs Worldwide, Mr Aziz said politics has taken a back seat in the wake of CPEC, which entails a combination of investment and debt amounting to over $57 billion.

CEO Clubs Worldwideis a 40-year-old nonprofit with chapters across different countries with 15,000 current active members.

Speaking on the occasion, CEO Clubs Worldwide founder Joe Mancuso said the commencement of the local chapter of the international club will enable Pakistani CEOs to exchange ideas among themselves in a relaxed environment without the involvement of lawyers and consultants.

J.P. Li, chairperson of the China chapter of CEO Clubs Worldwide, highlighted future business and investment possibilities in Pakistan.
