DERA GHAZI KHAN: Robbers looted cash and documents from PTI MNA-elect Mohsin Leghari in the vicinity of the Gaddai police station when he was on his way to Choti Zareen on Monday.

Newly-elected MNA from NA-193 Mr Leghari was travelling in his vehicle, driven by driver Iqbal, when unidentified gunmen intercepted him and looted cash and valuables from him and his driver.

Mr Leghari told Dawn that four gunmen stole his briefcase containing his important documents, including a passport.

The Gaddai police registered a case against uni-dentified highwaymen on the report of Iqbal.

ACTION: The Dera Ghazi Khan food deputy director has suspended the quota of a flour mills for providing fewer bags of subsidised flour at sale points.

Deputy Director Ayub Bukhari made a surprise visit to flour sales points and met the citizens present there.

In light of public complaints, he suspended the wheat quota of the Attaullah Flour Mills for selling fewer bags of flour.

Also, the senior clerk of the District Food Controller`s office was suspended for concealing facts. Correspondent
