SAHIWAL: Kasowal police claimed to have arrested two suspects, recovering 12kg hashish from their car on Eastern bypass on Lahore-Khanewal National Highway on Thursday.
Police registered a case under section 9(1)3a of the Control of Narcotics Substance Act 1997 against the suspects, Abid Hussain and Saeed Ahmed on the compliant of Sub-Inspector Khadim Hussain.
As per the FIR, the police, on a tip-off, stopped a car and during search recovered the drug packed in bags.
Police say Abid, a resident of 21/14-L village and Saeed of 101/12-L village were involved in drug trafficking. The police confiscated the car, that is owned by one Khalid Machee of 89/12-L village of Chichawatni.
