QUETTA: One person was injured in a hand grenade attack on a police station in the Kachi Baig area, located on the outskirts of Quetta late on Sunday night.

Police said that an unidentified motorcyclist hurled a grenade at the Kachi Baigpolice station, which exploded near the gate. A passer-by was injured in the blast and was immediately shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta for treatment.

The explosion damaged the police station`s main gate and shattered windowpanes, but no injuries were reported among the police personnel stationed inside.
