KARACHI: The duo of Adeel Allawala and Hasheesh Kumar secured the National Padel Championship men`s doubles title here at the Padel Verse on Sunday.

The pair of Adeel and Hasheesh, representing Karachi Region, delivered a commanding performance as they defeated the team of Sami Zeb Khan and Shumail Shigri of Islamabad Region in straight frames.

The winning team of Adeel and Hasheesh took home a cash prize of Rs150,000.

`The championship provided outstanding facilities throughout the event. This win opens the door for more events to be held in Karachi,` said Adeel A11awala.

Third place in the men`s category went to Azhar Katchi and Nafees M. Yaqoob.

Third place was claimed by Saira Umer and Mehalc Tehrani, representing MUV.

The women`s final witnessed an all-Karachi Region final where Sana Tabba and Natalia Zaman emerged triumphant after defeating Safina Danish and Neha Khan with a solid 2-0 victory.

The winners received Rs100,000 in prize money.

In the mixed doubles final, Sana Maqbool and Sami Zeb Khan of Islamabad Region won a thriller 2-1 over Karachi Region`s Mehak Tehrani and Asim Khan, securing Rs100,000 in prize money.

Samia Ansari and Shumail Tajamul of Karachi Region secured third place.-Agencies
