PROTESTS ABROAD: The supporters ofthe opposition partyhave been staging protest demonstrations almost on a daily basis in London for quite some time now. Apart from disturbing the life of the residents of a particular area in London, these protesters have also caused great damage to the image of Pakistan. The mainstream media in Pakistan appears to have largely ignored this while giving sermons on other issues. The party has a right to protest in Pakistan every minute of the day, but not outside Pakistan. There is no example of any national of any country ever protesting in Pakistan, not even the Afghans whose country is a mess.
Nasser Yousaf` Abbottabad RECKLESS SPEECHES: Regardless of the twists and turns in the case of arrest and subsequent release of the opposition leader, it is a fact that the nation is sick and tired of hearing reckless utterances of politicians using foul language against the most revered ones. This is animosity of the worst variety. It shows the speakers` lack of political grooming, which, in turn, betrays their lack of knowledge and reading habits. They simply fail to control themselves, and their bitterness and hatred against their opponents tend to take the better of them. They, therefore, resort to saying anything that crosses their mind without any preparation. In order to avoid making controversial references, it would be better for the careless orators to come prepared with talking points to exercise some control over what they are saying and how.
