GILGIT: Gilgit police on Tuesday arrested three accused wanted in the murder of a girl and a boy in the name of honour.

Officials told Dawn that a police team headed by SDPO Nusrat Alam raided a house in Juglote on the outskirts of Gilgit town on Tuesday.

In the raid police arrested three accused, wanted in murder of a girl and boy for honour in Chakarkot village last month.

Officials said after the crime the accused had fled and a case had been registered against them in Juglote police station.

The raid was made on a tipoff provided by an intelligence agency.Correspondent
