Digitalisation to make parliament more productive: NA speaker

ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf on Monday said use of Google office in the National Assembly (NA) Secretariat would make Pakistan`s parliament the first paperless parliament of South Asia.
He said this during a meeting with representatives of Google and the chief executive officer of Tech Valley.Digitalisation of parliament would make it more productive and effective, he said,addingthatusingtechnology based on artificial intelligence would make the NA personnel productive.
Tech Valley CEO Umer Farooq said Tech Valley was a partner of Google. Project Director of Digitalisation Hub for Parliament told participants of the meeting that training had been conducted in various offices of the National Assembly.
