RAHIM YAR KHAN: Traffic remained suspended on the Nadonal Highway after a tanker filled with Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) overturned on Sanjarpur bypass, some 50km from here, on Monday.

According to Rescue 1122 sources, the tanker carrying LPG was on its way from Iranian borderto Lahore. When it reached near the Makki Madni Petroleum Service filling station, it overturned because of a `technical fault`, the Rescue 1122 of ficials said.

The district administration said arrangements were being made to transfer the LPG to a substitute tanker.

Rescuers later removed the overturned tanker from the road with a crane to restore the traffic.
