SAHIWAL: The case of Pakpattan Water Management District Officer Rana Waqar was referred to the AntiTerrorism Court, Multan, that sent him and three others on judicial remand on Monday, said Farid Nagar Station House Officer (SHO) Rana Tanveer Sarwar.
Waqar and three others were booked under sections 190 and 7 of the ATA.
The SHO said police had recovered Rs993,000 official cash from the three suspects who were responsible for the blast in the Water Management Office on Friday evening.
Senior officials from Lahore were visiting Pakpattan to evaluate the financial loss, examine various factors and question suspects behind the blast.

Mansoor and ProvincialManagement Unit Additional Secretary Kamaluddin Rashid visited the blast site and met Executive District Officer (EDO) Muhammad Shafique of the agriculture department, and the district management.
The EDO told Dawn the basic purpose was to streamline staff and make the office functional again.
More than 40 to 45 gazetted and non-gazetted staff worked in the district Water Management Office. The entire furniture, all computers and of fice record had reduced to ashes.
`Only the building`s loss is more than Rs1.2 million,` the EDO claimed.
The visiting senior officials were also questioning Office Superintendent Khalid Mahmood, who was the general secretary of the localchapter of the All Pakistan Clerks Association and was suspected to have helped the suspects in the blast.
EDO Shafique said work would resume at the office in a week.
