LAHORE: The Punjab University will launch a five-month Food Safety Internship Programme this year, extendable up to 2018, to develop food safety awareness amongst students.
In this connection, a memorandum of understanding was signed with Pepsi Cola at the committee room of Vice Chancellor`s Of fice here on Wednesday.The agreement aimed at enhancing the professional capabilities and competency level on food safety systems by providing industry exposure to students. This exposure would help the students to become food safety professionals and improve their employment opportunities.
