LAHORE: The Jamaat-iIslami (JI) would launch an `accountability of all` movement and also mobilise the masses for a `corruption-free Pakistan` campaign.
This was decided in a meeting of the JI at Mansoora with its Secretary General Liaqat Baloch in the chair on Thursday.
The party would hold rallies and public meetings across the country, mobilising the masses to demand across-the-board accountability.
The meeting noted the JIT report had proved that besides the present rulers, the past rulers, the bureaucracy and the elite holding high offices had been looting the country and transferring their black money to their bank accounts abroad.
The meeting reviewed the situation created after the joint investigation team (JIT) report and the progress of the case in the Supreme Court.-Staff Reporter
