OK ARA: A heavy quantity of public hospitals` medicines were allegedly recovered from a private pharmacy on Head Sulemanki Road in Haveli Lakha.

As per the first information report (FIR), on July 4, a drug inspector along with assistant commissioner (AC) Depalpur raided a private pharmacy on the Head Sulemanki Road from where various brands of medicines including 4,310 tablets and362 injections of public hospitals were recovered.

The pharmacy manager, identified as Ijaz, managed to escape from the scene and the pharmacy was sealed.

On the report of enforcement inspector Waqar Ahmad, Haveli police registered a case against pharmacy owner, Chaudhry Iftikhar for keeping, purchasing and selling government hospital medicines. Correspondent
