NAROWAL: A dispute between two addicted brothers over the distribution of the drug allegedly claimed the life of one of them in Mohallah Arainan, Sheikhupura.

According to a Rescue 1122 spokesperson, the emergency service was informed through a phone call that two addicted brothers bought ice drug and quarreled over its distribution.

During the quarrel, one of them (name could not be ascertained) attacked the other, identified as Mohsin (25), with a knife, leaving him critically injured. The suspeet fled the scene. Responding to the call, a Rescue 1122 team reached the scene and provided first aid to the injured man, but he succumbed to his wounds before being shifted to the hospital.On being informed of the incident a police team also reached the spot and collected evidence. The police have yet to register an FIR.

TWO ELECTROCUTED: A man and his son were electrocuted when a live electric wire suddenly fell on the donkey cart they were riding at Manawala village on Safdarabad Road.

As per Rescue 1122, Mehmood Ahmed (45), along with his son Hasnain (18), was bringing fodder for his cattle from fields on a donkey cart when an electric wire suddenly snapped and fell on them. Both suffered a fatal electric shock.

A Rescue 1122 team arriving on the spot tried to resuscitate them, but to no avail. Correspondent
