ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast scattered rain-thunderstorm alongwith gusty winds in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Sargodha divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during the next 24 hours.

Scattered rain at isolated places in Gujranwala, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Sahiwal, Faisalabad, Lahore, Zhob and Quetta divisions is expected.

According to Met Of fice, a westerly trough is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist during the next 24 hours.

Dry weather is expected in other parts of the country.

The highest temperature recorded in the last 24 hours were Chhor 42C, Lasbela, Mithi 41, Turbat, Karachi, Shaheed Benazirabad, Thatta 40C, Islamabad 25C, Lahore 33C, Karachi 40C, Peshawar 21C, Quetta 20C, Skardu 18C, Murree 20C, Muzaffarabad 24C, Gilgit 24C, Faisalabad 29C, Multan 31C and Hyderabad 37C.
