MUZAFFARABAD: A woman and her two sons were killed while her husband was injured after the mud-roof of their house collapsed in the southern Kotli district of Azad Kashmir on Monday.

SSP Kotli Chaudhry Mohammad Amin told Dawn that the incident occurred at about 4am in Maharr village in Tatta Pani.

The roof caved in after the log that supported it split into two pieces, he said.

As a result, Shazia, 27, wife of Zafar Ameen, and Rehan, 4 and Arman, 2, were killed while Mr Ameen was recovered alive with minor injuries. Staff Correspondent
