PESHAWAR: Former MNA Humayun Saifullah Khan has asked the National Transmission and Dispatch Company chief executive to complete the pile foundation work and commissioning of power transmission line to the Domail grid station in Bannu at the earliest.
In a statement issued here on Monday, Saifullah Khan said the 220kv double circuit line from Chashma Nuclear Power Plant to 220kv grid station in Domail tehsil of Bannu was started about two years back and the work was almost complete except pile foundation work of towers along the Indus River.
He said the completion of balance work and commission of the transmission line, which had already been delayed, should be carried out at the earliest.
Saifullah Khan said the commissioning of the transmission line would provide second source of power supply to the 220kv grid station which would ensure uninterrupted electricity supply to Kohat, Karak, Bannu and Lakki Marwat districts and even North Waziristan Agency. Bureau Report
