KARAK: The traders and local people of Karak have demanded of the authorities to shift the fruit and vegetable market out of the city.
They said that the old bazaar road should be widened to minimise hardships of the residents.
They claimed that residents of old bazaar were facing serious problems due to the fruit market located inside the city.
The local traders and political figures, including Iqbal Khan, Altaf and Nawaz Khan, raised these demands during a meeting. They also called for removal of vendors from roadsides in the bazaar to facilitate movement of pedestrians.
