JI seeks Rangers deployment at polling stations

KARACHI: After the PTI, the opposition Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has also demanded deployment of Rangers at all polling stations in the metropolis to minimise chances of rigging.
Speaking at a press conference, JI-Karachi chief Monem Zafar accused the Pakistan People Party government in Sindh of trying to rig the by-elections.
He said that out of the total 166 polling stations in Karachi, only 26 have been declared `very sensitive`. He demanded that all polling stations be declared `very sensitive`.
Earlier, the PTI had written a letter to election authorities and demanded that Rangers be deployed inside and outside all polling stations.
