AMERICANS, including a presidental candidate, senators, representatives and governors, have demanded that the US should close its door on refugees who have been flying to Syria to escape their persecution by the so-called Islamic State.
This is no solution to the human catastrophe that has engulfed the lives of many innocent Syrian refugees.
Denying Syrian refugees asylum becomes a propaganda victory for the so-called Islamic State. The refugees are not terrorists. To judge the refugees with their ethnicity and religion is wrong. They should not be blamed for these barbaric acts of the IS.
