Beggary

2015-12-14
BEGGARY has become a regular feature in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. We see beggars at markets, traffic signals, bus stands and railway platforms. Even healthy people are seen begging, while small children are also pushed into the social evil.

Beggary has become a profession and even able-bodied persons do not want to earn their bread by doing worl(. Most beggars are professional thieves as numerous incidents of jewellery and purselifting and -snatching of mobile phones are reported attrafncsignals.

The authorities should seriously consider this issue and steps should be taken to put a complete ban on beggary in the twin cities.
