BAHAWALPUR: The Dunyapur City Police on Tuesday arrested a dog owner after his pet bit and injured a nine-year-old girl, Aalia, while she was on her way to a nearby shop in Ward No 3, Meawati Mor.

A first information report was registered under Section 289 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) against dog owner Rehmat on the complaint of girl`s father Malik Ranjha Ali.

Aalia was admitted to the hospital for treatment. Correspondent
