QUETTA: Nurses of the Civil Hospital and the Bolan Medical College Hospital continued their strike on Tuesday to press the government for the acceptance of their demands.

Protestign nurses gathered at theCivil Hospital and chanted slogans against the government and officials concerned. After marching on various streets, the nurses held a rally outside the press club.

Addressing the rally, chairperson of the Nurses Action Committee Mina Luther announced that the committee would boycott duties in the operating theatres, cardiac wards and even emer-gency departments if their demands were not met by the government.

They appealed to Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri and the ofhcials concerned to look into the issues faced by the nurses of the province.

Due to the strike, patients admitted in the hospitals were facing severe difficulties.
