LAHORE: The Pakistan Railways has revised the fare of upgraded Karachi Express running between Punjab and Sindh capitals from March 15 (today).

At present, a single journey in the economy class costs Rs1,135, in AC Business class Rs3,500 and in AC Sleeper class Rs5,000 per passenger.

However, from March 15 the per passenger single journey in economy class would cost Rs1,430, in AC Business class Rs4,000 and in AC Sleeper class Rs5,700.

A Pakistan Railways spokesperson says facilities like free WiFi, TV and bottied water will be provided to passengers in Karachi Express with effect from March 15 when the upgraded train starts its operation.
