LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Housing and Urban Development Bilal Yasin has sought timely completion of the infrastructure development projects being executed by the Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA) in Lahore and directed the authorities concerned to expedite pace of work on all schemes in this regard.
The minister sought this during visits to various PCBDDA project here on Friday. Mr Yasin was briefed on CBD Quaid District, CBD Route 47, CBD Bab District, Walton Road Upgrade Project and NSIT City.
The minister said thecycling lane along Route 47 would promote ecofriendly transportation options within the district.
About Walton Road Upgrade Project, the minister noted that the long-standing infrastructural challenges faced by residents in the area are about to be resolved.
While touring NSIT City, he expressed pleasure on laying the foundation for a cutting-edge IT ecosystem in the province.
`Once completed, NSIT City will house leading IT firms and international educational institutions, fostering an environment for technological advancement and economic growth,` he added.
