TAXILA: The chopped body ofateenage boyin a sack was found from a deserted place near GT Road in the limits of Hassanabdal police on Friday, police and hospital sources said.

They said scavengers spotted the sack from which blood was oozingand informed the police.

Police reached the spot andrecoveredthebodyin pieces.

The unidentified body was shifted to hospital for autopsy and legal formalities.

Meanwhile, encroachments on a busy commercial road claimed the life of an employee of a defence organisation.

Police while quotingeyewitnesses said Faheem Ahmed, 27, was going to the railway station to receive his father a recklessly driven dumper hit and killed him while trying to avert an encroachment on the road.

Boy molested In another incident, a 16-year-old boy was molested by a man in the limits of Taxila police.

The victim`s fatherreported to the police that his son was coming back from school when the man took him to his house and molested him.

The boy was taken to the tehsil headquarters hospital where a preliminary examination confirmed the assault.Subsequently, the suspect was put behind bars.
