Dozen booked for storming fast food outlet in Pindi

RAWALPINDI: Police have registered a case against at least 12 people for vandalising the outlet of an internationalfast food chain in the garrison city.
The case was registered after some men stormed the eatery in Saddar on Sunday night and threatened the staff and customers.
Rawalpindi police said on Monday that the vandals involved in the attack had been traced through CCTV cameras. However, they were yet to be rounded up by the police.
Police spokesperson Inspector Malik Sajjadul Hassan told Dawn.com that the suspects would be arrested soon after obtaining their data from Nadra.
The suspects have been booked under PPC sections. An FIR lodged by Cantt police on the complaint of Faisal Pervez, manager of the food outlet, said 10-12 individuals carrying baseball bats and batons entered the eatery on Sunday.Mohammad Asghar
