He issued the directives while speaking at a joint session of the PLCs of Hangu, Doaba, and Thall circles at the police lines the other day, according to a statement.

The participants discussed the challenges faced by the law-enforcement agencies in improving the law and order.

District police officer Mohammad Khalid Khan, DSPs of various circles, SHOs, and elders were in attendance.

Mr Marwat directed them to extend all cooperation to the PLC members and accept their legal demands, which were in the larger interest of communities and individuals.

DIG Marwat clarified that those performing good work in the police department would be awarded cash prizes and commendation certificates, adding those with a bad reputation for giving zero results would be expelled and given punishments.
