TH IS is regarding the release of 88 fishermen from an Indian jail with the exception of an eight-year-old boy, Ghulam Hussain, son of fisherman Muhammad Juman (June 24). I was saddened on readingthat the boy was not released.
I would like everybody to sympathise with the boy`s pain who has been detained in an Indian jail without his parents.
The UNHCR and other global agencies working for children`s rights must make sincere efforts to get the innocent boy released from Indian detention.
