KARACHI: Veteran journalist Shahid Husain passed away after a brief illness on Thursday. He was 71. He is survived by a son and two daughters.The funeral prayers will be held on Friday (today) at Imambargah Khairul Amal in Federal B. Area`s Incholi Society after Zuhrain.

In his decades-long career, he worked for a number of publications including Herald magazine, The News.
