SAHIWAL: The Sahiwal Arts Council began a threeday programme at Jinnah Hall on Monday to pay a tribute to the martyrs of the Army Public School of Peshawar who were killed by militants on Dec 16 last year.

Council assistant director Riaz Hamdani said Comsats University students staged a play `Saday Shohoda` on Monday. A paintings competition among the students of colleges, a mushaira on Dec 16, recitation of the Holy Quran and a quiz programme are parts of the festival. Correspondent
