ISLAMABAD: The capital police are searching for an underage daughter of an army officer, who fled after running her car over a man .

A case was also registered against the girl under PPC 322 and 279 at Golra police station, the police said, adding she hit Sultan Sikandar who died on the spot. The driver of the vehicle is identified and raids are being conducted to arrest her, police said, adding that investigations are being carried without any discrimination and irrespective of any status and position of her father.

The case was registered in response to a complaint filed by an employer of the deceased. He in his complaint said a white Toyota Corolla Altis driven rashly and in a zig-zag manner appeared there and hit and crushed Sikandar. A girl was driving the car while a young man was sitting behind her, who later identified as her servant, the FIR said, adding that the girl was learning driving on road without driving licence.

Later, the girl and her servant escaped from the spot, it said, adding that a passerby identified the girl as a daughter of a colonel and and gave address of her residence. Staff Reporter
