TOBA TEK SINGH: Two brothers died instantly when their motorcycle fell into a ditch that occurred after a breach to a minor canal near Adda Chabb Kalan in Khanewal on Wednesday.

According to Rescue 1122, the breach took place late on Tuesday and eroded more than 15 feet of the road.

The deceased were identified as Muhammad Asif and Muhammad Kashif.

HELD: The motorwaypolice arrested on Wednesday four people, including a woman, and recovered narcotics hidden in secret parts of their cars.

The police pulled over two cars near Gojra and recovered 40 kilograms of opium and 22kg of hashish. Gul Rehman, Raees Khan, and his wife Zubaida Khan, all of Charsada, and Riaz Khan, of Mardan, were arrested. The suspects told police that they were smuggling narcotics from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Multan. The Gojra Saddar police registered cases against them.
