THE new government had been sanctimonious in its promises of revamping the basic facilities of life for the public. It seems that it is bent upon depriving them of the facilities that were provided by the previous government.
The pathetic condition of metro buses is a pertinent example. It should realise that the service is used by tens of thousands especially aged people daily.
The leaking and damaged water-coolers, lifts and escalators that donotfunction and the ill-maintained service stations speak volumes of the new government`s negligence.
It is time the government improved the metro bus condition.
