Summit at Shalamar Hospital

LAHORE: The second International Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) summit is being held at the Shalamar Hospital.
According to a press release, the summit, focused on gynaecology, has attracted over 600 participants from various countries, including the UK, Australia, the UAE and Oman as well as from across Pakistan.
The chief guests include Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (London) President Rani Thacker, RCOG chief executive Kate Lancaster, and Shalamar Hospital Board of Trustees Chairman Shahid Hussain.
During the summit,the first-ever Women`s Health Centre and Urogynaecology Clinic were inaugurated at the hospital.
The centre offers comprehensive diagnostic and treatment facilities for women`s health issues, including gynaecology, breast cancer, obstetrics, and osteoporosisunder one roof.
The summit features specialised papers on the latest technologies, including AI and robotic surgery.
Training workshops are being conducted for health professionals where international experts are sharing their experiences.
Doctors and nurses will receive specialised training.
