ISLAMABAD: A woman was killed allegedly by her brotheron Thursday.

Police said the incident took place in Jhangi Syedan where the man murdered his sister, a cancer patient.

A teenage daughter of the suspect informed her aunt on phone abouttheincident.

The aunt, Parveen Bibi, along with her husband reached the house and found her sister Naseem Bibi.

The victim was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead. Ms Parveen told the police that the suspect was unemployed and often beat his sister after she did not give him money.

Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Noor Shahjehan told Dawn that the suspect had been arrested. Staff Reporter
