CENSUS helps the government make future plans and policies in a sound manner. The last census was held in 1998.
The delay in holding census is due to mismanagement and political crisis violating the terms of the constitution which states that `census should be held after every 10 years`.
The census form distinguishes between citizens and `aliens` and between permanent and temporary residents. The form should also have a provision for mentioning the `internally displaced person` who had been provided facilities or settled by the government.
