Four family members killed

QUETTA: A man allegedly addicted to drugs shot dead four members of his family in the Bhosa Mandi area on Quetta`s outskirts on Tuesday.

According to police, the accused, identified as Nawab Khan, opened fire during a domestic dispute, killing his two sons Yusuf Khan and Jumma Khan and his daughter-in-law, Rugya. His wife, Malaila, was critically injured and later died of wounds.

Hairdresser, two others killed Three people were killed in firing and landmine blast in Quetta and Kahan areas of Kohlu district on Tuesday.Levies officials said that a man, identified as Shah Bakhsh, was killed after he stepped on a landmine planted by unknown people in Kohlu. Levies shifted the body to the district hospital.

Meanwhile, unknown armed men opened indiscriminate fire at a hairdresser shop in Parkani Street, a locality on the outskirts of Quetta, on Tuesday night, killing the shopowner, Ehsan Ullah Mangi.

Police termed the incident target killing.

In another incident, unknown armed men opened fire and killed a man who was passing through the Double Road area.-Staff Correspondent
